Efficiency |
Hybridyne was founded on the simple premise that for Renewable Energy to 'come of age', the efficiency of conversion had to be improved - to give customers and investors a better payback or ROI. | |
| Simply put, the manufacturers of Wind Turbines and PhotoVoltaic cells have done a fine job making their products as efficient as possible, BUT have not devoted equivalent effort to the conversion electronics which convert the 'Unrefined Energy' gathered into 'Usable Electricity'. Hybridyne has stepped into the gap and designed equipment to efficiently convert the 'Unrefined Electricity' into 'Usable Electricity'. | |

| We have written a White Paper discussing The Renewable Energy System Equation : YN = RN * θN * ΣH This equation is the basis for designing Conversion/Inversion equipment which is capable of increasing the overall yield of Renewable Energy Systems by 30-50%. All Hybridyne Conversion/Inversion Technology ( CIT ) equipment is designed to follow these principles and deliver the highest electricity yield in the industry. | |
| For an example, here's a document which shows data captured at one of our sites ( a small hybrid wind and solar system used to teach electricians how to install Renewable Energy equipment ). The chart shows actual readings of insolation ( how much sunlight is reaching the PV panels ) and output power . You'll notice that ( as expected ) the output rises and falls as clouds pass over the array. Also, as expected, the array produces more electricity in the middle of the day than the morning or evening.. What is unexpected is that the array actually produces electricity ALL DAY LONG. If these solar panels were connected to a conventional 'Brand X' inverter, there would be no production in the morning before 10-11AM, and none after 3-4PM. However, because of the HPE Inverter's longer operational window, you'' notice that this system produces usable electricity from 7AM until 7PM. Because of the increased efficiency and longer operational window of the Hybridyne CIT, this array is yielding about 33% more electricity than it would with a conventional inverter. | |
