What is a 'hybrid' energy system, and what advantages do they have?

A hybrid energy system usually consists of two or more energy sources used together to provide a better energy supply balance. For example, solar photovoltaic panels can be coupled with wind turbines. During the winter, the wind turbine would be more efficient than solar panels, while during the summer,  solar would be more efficient. Hybrid systems can make more economic sense than wind or solar alone. This technique is referred to as " hardening  the supply".

HPE's Patented electronics effectively 'marry' multiple Renewable Energy sources go give better yield and a more useful supply - for "behind the meter" systems as well as for Energy Parks.

Do HPE Inverters and Conversion/Inversion equipment meet Ontario Content rules ?

Yes, HPE equipment is engineered, designed, assembled and tested in Ontario, so companies applying for Ontario Power Authority Feed In Tarrif contracts can use HPE inverters to meet the Ontario Content Requirements.

Why should I buy HPE CIT technology and not an inverter from one of the 'big' companies ?
To be sure, there are some fine well-established companies out there who make well-build components ( and some other companies whose products aren't up to the same standard ).  To be sure, HPE is seen as a 'new' company that you may only be learning about now, although we've been supplying inverters and converter/inverters to projects for many years.

HOWEVER, the simple fact is that the proprietary HPE CIT is just more efficient, and more importantly, more effective  .  If you are building a Renewable Energy facility where the source of income is the sale or use of the electricity generated, then you want to gather every kiloWatthour that you can and you want the equpment to last as long as possible.  We recently had the occasion to compare the specs of one of our units to a 'comparable' inverter manufactured by a solid reputable company with a good track record.  In terms of efficiency, cost effectiveness, and longevity, the HPE CIT was ahead on every important point.
